Final Sunday MotoGP test times - Jerez

MotoGP lap times as of 6pm - the end of the second day at the final official 2013 pre-season test, held at Jerez.
The second day of the third and final official 2013 pre-season MotoGP test took place at Jerez in Spain on Sunday.

The track was again wet for the start of testing but conditions steadily improved until slicks tyres were possible by 2pm. Rain then returned at 4:30pm ending the dry time.

The final day of pre-season testing will begin at 10am on Monday morning.

I'm happy to wait and see what the first event of the season brings. Happy that its all mixed up a bit, and not totally 'business as usual', but the conditions mean that I don't really see this as saying too much. Marquez is down a bit, but my guess is that's the iffy conditions v his lack of seat time on the RCV. Ditto Smith. Cal & Dovi's showing might reflect their greater experience (& the fact that the Duke is far more competitive when the conditions means you don't can't push that last couple of percent), while VR's result has to be a definite confidence-booster, a minor victory over Lorenzo and reflect his vast experience and ability in wet/dry conditions. Those with the biggest concerns remain Spies & Hayden I think - being shown the way by a Rookie and eclipsed by Dovi on the same bike.
