German MotoGP, Sachsenring - Free practice (3)

Free practice (3) results from the German Moto3 Grand Prix at Sachsenring, round 8 of 17.
Spots of rain fell during the opening minutes and title leader Dani Pedrosa suffered a huge highside when the riders returned. The Spaniard is undergoing medical checks, the first results of which fortunately show no fractures.

Another Spaniard, Hector Barbera, suffered a high speed fall through turn 11 and also headed for the Medical Centre.

The top ten riders after FP3 (combined times) will receive direct access to the second and final part of this afternoon's qualifying session.

Jorge Lorenzo, who broke his collarbone at Assen - but returned to claim fifth in the race - has been forced to withdraw from the German round after re-damaging his collarbone on Friday.

Hiroshi Aoyama, injured at Catalunya, is returning to action while Pramac's Ben Spies continues to be side-lined and is again replaced by Ducati test rider Michele Pirro.

Maybe it's the softer tire the CRTs are supposed to be getting. I am sure Dani loves his harder rear tire, but not as much as his teammate who rapes his rear tire in to the corners. A shame people believe 1 tire is fair. Competition is fair, Monopolies and corruption are not conducive to fairness.
