Japanese MotoGP, Motegi - Free Practice

Sunday free practice times from the Japanese MotoGP at Motegi, round 17 of 18.
Marc Marquez - who has the second of three chances to clinch the 2013 title this afternoon - fell heavily during the session, but returned to set the third fastest time.

As forecast the Sunday weather is dry and bright, after a cancelled Friday and wet Saturday afternoon.

Due to this weekend's disrupted schedule, a 45-minute free practice session was held on Sunday morning, in place of the usual morning warm-up.

Honda LCR's Stefan Bradl is making his second return attempt after fracturing his ankle at Sepang, while Yamaha test rider Katsuyuki Nakasuga is competing as a wild-card.

Yonny Hernandez continues to replace Ben Spies at Pramac Ducati, with Damian Cudlin taking over from Hernandez at PBM and World Supersport-ace Scassa replacing the injured Karel Abraham at Cardion AB.
