Sepang II MotoGP test times - Friday (Final)

Lap times as of 6pm on Friday, the end of the second and final Sepang pre-season MotoGP test.
Reigning MotoGP champion Marc Marquez was not present, after fracturing his right leg in a dirt-track training accident last week.

The PBM team (Michael Laverty and Broc Parkes) was also absent, having decided to focus on machine development back at its UK base. Iodaracing (Leon Camier and Danilo Petrucci), which skipped the first Sepang test, was again missing.

Testing began at 10am and concluded at 6pm however Valentino Rossi finished testing at lunch time. Dani Pedrosa then exactly matched Rossi's lap time in the final minutes of the test.

The next and final pre-season test for the official Honda, Yamaha and Ducati team riders - barring the injured Marquez - will be the Phillip Island tyre test from March 3-5. The other riders will hold their final pre-season test at Qatar from March 7-9.

Testing is over and Rossi is top (ie nobody quicker) I know, I know, he's only there because Marc and Casey are not there, and Jorge is a bit off his game, but if Rossi is really over the hill, it must be a very shallow hill. Ride of the Day........you've guessed it.....Dovi. And Randy on the Suzuki.
