Qatar MotoGP, Losail - Free Practice (3) Results

Free practice (3) results from the 2014 Qatar MotoGP at Losail, round 1 of 18.
The top ten riders after FP3 (combined times) receive direct access to the second and final part of Saturday's qualifying session.

Tech 3 Yamaha's Pol Espargaro and Ducati's Cal Crutchlow (who was forced to switch to his spare bike after an early fall) are the two most notables names to miss out and will be forced to fight for the last two Q2 places, in Qualifying 1.

The official Honda, Yamaha and Ducati teams did not attend the recent Qatar test and thus started this weekend at a disadvantage.

World champion Marc Marquez is riding his first MotoGP laps since fracturing his leg in February. Pol Espargaro is back on track despite breaking his collarbone at the Qatar test on March 9.

Rossi was lucky to get through then. factory yamaha having all sorts of problems, great lap by lorenzo considering how much hes struggling. espargaros bike is getting ridiculous, yamaha missed a trick not going to open, the yamaha of espargaro is clearly much faster than the factory bikes. not taking anything away from espargaro but give lorenzo and rossi 24 litrres and a softer tyre and it would be a different story.
