Belly - Personally I don't think a battle starts so much from the start line as realistically they are still only a few meters from the guy at the front!... latest example is Rossi qualifying 12th. If he had made a brilliant start and was say top 5 into turn one he is not really battling through the field there would only be 4 guys to pass in the rest of the race. So I think a fight through the pack could be if you are behind a majority of the field after first couple of turns?! its always going to be open to personal perception but that is how I see it myself... DeAngelis at Mugello... Qualifies 10th, last at turn 1, 4th at the flag... thats probably a good example of what I mean!
