Lap times at 5pm on Thursday marking the second day of MotoGP riders on track for a private test at Jerez, alongside the leading World Superbike competitors.

The factory Ducati, Suzuki, KTM and Aprilia MotoGP teams are all present, plus satellite teams from Honda and Ducati.

Repsol Honda's reigning world champion Marc Marquez and 2017 Jerez race winner Dani Pedrosa are not on track. However Marc's younger brother Alex is taking part in his first 'real' MotoGP test, as a replacement for injured Marc VDS Honda rookie Thomas Luthi.

Aprilia WorldSBK rider and former MotoGP racer Eugene Laverty is testing in place of Aleix Espargaro at Aprilia.

The factory Yamaha and Tech 3 teams are also absent, having elected to hold their private test at Sepang, prior to the winter test ban on December 1.

Jerez has been resurfaced since the Spanish MotoGP on May 5-7, but before October's WorldSBK round, which saw a double victory by reigning triple world champion Jonathan Rea.

Testing takes place from 10am to 6pm...

Go Dovi.

Where can I find analysis of the times....anyone ?

PS......Cal is getting his testing of parts done and setting a fast time, putting in a lot of laps too. If his feed back is suited to Marc then look out.

Dovi is fast, I'm impressed with Tito also. I still think AM testing a GP bike again is ridiculous and unfair to other riders, they seem to be changing the rules depending on who it is. He probably using factory electronics also and will replace Dani in 2019 regardless of how AM does next year in Moto 2. Anyway that's what Moto GP has become obviously.

Iannone and Rins also looking good for next season, be great to see Suzuki get a few wins, it was class and very refreshing to see Suzuki win in 2016 in the hands of MV and I hope they achieve it again. How cool would it be if Suzuki took the title next season.

". I still think AM testing a GP bike again is ridiculous and unfair to other riders, they seem to be changing the rules depending on who it is."

State the specific rule # from the rulebook about riders who are eligible and not eligible to be riding a GP bike during MotoGP testings. If you cannot find one, I'm going to refer to you as VMuppetR henceforth. Its called "testing season" for a reason you muppet. Nakazone, Zarco, Vinales and Flopsy are testing the 2018 M1 at Sepang. I suppose Nakazone should not be replacing Folger now? Lmao.

Also Alex Lowes and Michael VDM replaced injured Tech 3 GP riders for "Races" last 2 years. And they're not even part of MotoGP lol. Its called "stand-in rider" for a reason. VMuppetR

*Kohta Nozane not Nakazone. Crash needs to fix its text editor.

No crash need to get rid of you and your other user name UCCIO IS STILL... you just making shit up because your a dummy, I never mentioned VR in the comment yet you did because you a dumb dumb and can't spell his name.

I already told you Alex Lowe's was just a stand in and was never going to get a Moto GP ride and M VDM was also never going to get a ride with Yamaha so that isn't an unfair advantage over the opposition. AM is getting a Moto GP ride with Honda and gets to test it before he signs, but your a dumb cunt that just won't admit Marquez is getting special treatment. Iv nothing more to say to you and your other dummy user names.

Everyone is laughing at your comments you dumb dumb!!! Bye now!!! Lol!!!

Did V46R really just say this about someone else?

"you just making shit up because your a dummy"

Too funny.

Another conspiracy theory came out from the yellow's fan. Sadly this won't stop as long as their idol still on the track.

A Conspiracy theory!! WTF is AM testing a Moto Gp bike or not?? Because I thought he was testing a Moto Gp bike!! Hmmm ya it's a conspiracy theory allrite.

90% of people know where I'm coming from but won't comment because of people like you and dumb dumb.

Have Repsol Honda rang you and told you that AM is definately getting a GP bike ?

If he hasn't signed a contract to ride a Moto GP bike next season, is it against the rules? I'm not trying to be an arse here, I'm happy to admit that I don't know the rules on this topic.

Stoner tests and doesn't race at all, Laverty tests, he rides WSBK, Pirro tests, he rides in the Italian superbike championship. There are more mostly Japanese. Alex will be riding Moto2 next year for MarcVDS and they used him to test their big bike.
