I’m Jorge Lorenzo; I want to be world champion.

This video has been posted on You Tube by Jorge Lorenzo's father. It's in Spanish, but the footage of the future 250cc world champion and MotoGP race winner in action needs no translation. The video opens with a 13-year-old Lorenzo introducing himself and saying he wants to be world champion...

Lorenzo is good for the sport IMO. He is affable and outgoing and isn't intimidated by Rossi. He is cocky no question! But he is also the only guy capable of going wheel to wheel with Vale (remember him?) on a daily basis! If I could do that, I would probably have billboards of myself all over Barcelona proclaiming myself king sh1t! :) :) :)

You know, I hated Jorge's attitude in 250s. I also thought he was very arrogrant. He seemed to lack any sort of humility. But something happened. This 2nd season of his in motogp has forced me to change my opinion of him. I don't know what it is. Even Pedrosa. It seems that a lot of these riders have grown up and learned to handle situations better.
