Winslow's season beyond the
Brands Hatch A1GP finale could be boosted by another strong performance this weekend, as he continues to chase backing for his F3 campaign.
"I am disappointed that, due to matters beyond my control, things haven't worked out for me in sportscars," he commented, "but I will now focus on the A1GP weekend, and helping Team GBR to end the season on a high note.
"As for the rest of the season, I am still working on all kinds of things, and I remain hopeful of something coming up very soon. Until then, however, it is great to be leading the Australian F3 championship, and it will be a major asset in my quest for a V8 drive next year if I can take the title.
"We did the deal with Astuti and Gawler Farm Machinery to get on track at Oran Park, and I'm grateful to Sam Astuti for helping to rescue my season. Without the hard work and input from both parties, this result wouldn't have happened, and hope that I can find a way to continue with them after our race-winning start."
