Bertolini completes first shakedown of Ferrari powered machine in Italy.

The new 'Powered by Ferrari' A1GP car has completed its first shakedown during a test session at the Italian circuit of Fiorano.

Sportscar ace Andrea Bertolini was at the wheel of the car for the session at the Ferrari test track and was able to give positive feedback to A1GP technical director John Travis, A1GP general manager technical and operations John Wickham and A1GP lead consultant on electronic development Anton Stipinovich all of whom made the trip to Italy for the test.

Following on from the initial shakedown test, the A1 team will now set about more intensive running of the car during further tests at both Fiorano and Imola ahead of the introduction of the car into the A1GP arena for the first time for the start of the 2008/09 season.
