The 2008/09 A1GP season kicked off in appalling conditions at Zandvoort as the Dutch circuit played host to the opening rounds of the year.

In pouring rain, Fairuz Fauzy took the first win of the Powered by Ferrari era for Team Malaysia after battling his way through the field to take victory ahead of New Zealander Earl Bamber and Frenchman Loic Duval.

However, things didn't go to plan for everyone, with the conditions leading to a number of incidents on track before the race was red-flagged.

This highlights package looks back at the Zandvoort sprint race, although unfortunately there is no commentary.
