With the American Le Mans Series' season nearing its climax and having lost the lead of the LMP2 drivers' championship, Liz Halliday looks ahead of the final few races of the year with an eye on claiming the championship lead back...

Q:
Petit Le Mans is less than 10 days away. Any other thoughts?

LH:
Only that each of us on the Intersport team knows what is at stake. We drivers get all the attention, but neither Clint nor Jon or I would be able to accomplish what we have without the outstanding work ethic and determination of our crew members. If we are fortunate to win the LMP2 championship, and I believe we still can, it is going to be a true 'team' championship. We don't have the numbers [of personnel] that some of the other teams do, but we do have some of the best crew members in this sport and that counts for a lot. We all want to win, and I know that we will continue to put maximum effort into claiming the LMP2 championship in these last two races.
