Andretti Green Racing newcomer Franck Montagny posted the fastest time of the pre-race test at Mid-Ohio as he prepares for his second American Le Mans Series outing.

"For some reason, luck has always been with us here," van Overbeek said, "After what happened to us last week, I'm hoping we get some of that Mid-Ohio luck. Everyone is comfortable here and, every time you do well at a certain place, you show up the next time and feel really good about things."
