Ellis diagnosed with neck fracture.

Bradley Ellis has been diagnosed with a fractured bone in his neck but is in 'good spirits' following his horrific accident during the second Avon Tyres British GT Championship race of the weekend at Thruxton.

Really really sorry to hear of Bradley's injury. All the best for a speedy recovery. kind regards Diane, John, Sam and Max Bird

Sorry to hear about the accident just wondering whether Bradley was wearing a Hans device

 1 people agree.

Just to confirm, Bradley was indeed wearing a HANS device which ensured his injuries weren't a lot worse than they were

The G50 strikes me as an unsafe race car.

Having been standing at the chicane and watched the crash, I'd say that the G50 is a very safe racing car! It suffered a massive impact at substantial speed into the marshals post. It was sickening to watch, such was the force of the crash. For the guy to almost walk away is a testamant to the strength of the safety cell in the car. Get well soon!

Saw crash and the car being unloaded from the recovery truck. Amazed to hear Bradley got out of the car himself - it was a mess! Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Having to have repaired and painted vast quantities of g50 parts already this season!! I went to thruxton on sunday to watch!! I now know why!!! It seems to me the only part of the car ginetta got right was the rollcage!! fortunately for hunter + bradley!!
The car on track looks virtually undriveable,it has no mechanical grip whatsoever + the friend i was with + i actually commented that an old sierra would probably handle better!!
it seems they only have to touch + the bodywork disintegrates + with the lack of grip its not surprising they spear off into the barriers with the slightest touch!!
get well soon bradley!!!

I feel 1 of the governing bodies needs to take a serious look at this car (1)before someone is killed on track + (2)before ginetta produce a road version!!
So budding racers if you think this is a 'CHEAP RACE SERIES' THINK AGAIN! With body damage its prob as expensive as BGT + if you like hospital food then maybe its for you!!
GOOD LUCK!!
