British GT champion Bradley Ellis has been confirmed as a full member of the British Racing Drivers' Club, effective immediately for the 2008 season.

The 20-year-old was elected for membership following his title winning success alongside Alex Mortimer in what was the pair's first season racing GT3 machinery.

Ellis, who debuted in British GT in the Cup Class in 2006 after a career that also included time in karting and Formula Renault, admitted he was delighted to have secured membership of the illustrious club.

“The BRDC is the foundation for British motorsport and I look forward to upholding the Club's values.”
