Hi guys!
Hope everybody is well and things are going good! Just thought I would let you all know what has been going on over the past few months. I know I said in the last column that I was trying to get all my media things out of the way before testing started, but I can assure you that hasn’t happened – I’m actually busier than I have ever been, with promotional days for the team, my training programme, visiting sponsors and so on.
Over the New Year I took my girlfriend, Laynie, away to Italy skiing. I have been skiing for 17 years now and love it. Laynie is exactly the same and has been skiing since a young age so we are pretty advanced and try to go every year. If there is one thing I would love to do if I wasn’t racing it would be downhill skiing!
We stayed in a place call Sauze d’Oulx and it was really nice. We left on New Year’s Eve and saw the New Year in, then hit the slopes on January 1st. Luckily it poured with snow on our first day which made for great skiing for the rest of the week too.
This weekend I will be visiting three different Suzuki dealers in the Midlands on Saturday for the launch of the new Suzuki GSXR 1000 K7. It will be good to see how the public reacts to the awesome new bike.
