Rutter column: Top tens.

In the first of his exclusive columns for Crash.net, Isilon MSS Discovery Kawasaki's Michael Rutter talks about how a difficult weekend turned out well, with two top-ten finishes...

I'm not going to complain, we've had some problems this weekend, but the team have worked so hard even overnight and we've got some good results to show for it. We now need to keep moving forward, especially in terms of engine development, in time for this weekend's round at Thruxton. I'm really looking forward to Thruxton now, hopefully we can get the bike up and running as well as we have done at Brands Hatch and see how it goes.

Team is gelling well; I get on well with my team-mate Stuart Easton. It's a real good team, probably one of the best teams that I've been in. Its good fun and that is what racing should be about.

Away from the track I've just been getting fit really, been running twenty miles a day and things like that. Just fitness training to get myself ready for the long season ahead.
