Cal's Challenge: Battered, bruised but not beaten.

In his second Crash.net column of 2008 and on the eve of the British Superbike Championship curtain-raiser at Brands Hatch – scene of his maiden rostrum finish in the hotly-fought series in the final race of last year – Cal Crutchlow reveals his hopes and aims for the campaign that lies ahead…

My aim is to do two years in BSB. Everyone obviously wants to go and race on the world stage – that’s every rider’s ultimate aim – but first I want to progress in Britain and see how we do this year. I definitely want to win the championship, and we’re riding for the best team with the best bike, so there’s no reason why I can’t push for that and complete my two-year plan.
