HM Plant enters new era.

HM Plant Honda has taken the covers off the team it hopes for challenge for honours in the 2008 Bennetts British Superbike Championship.

Not sure if Leon should'n have stayed with Ducati with that extra 200cc????.Lookin forward to the start of the season .

Good luck to them, but the signs for non-1098 riders are looking pretty ominous if WSBK is anything to go by. Honda have not exactly been setting that series alight either so far. The Ducati is in the early stages of development still and that has to be a worry for the other teams.

But the '08 Fireblade is a new bike too and HM Plant have had the bike for a longer period before it's first races than WSB teams had before Qatar. Looking at the race pace Checa showed (and Kiyo and Sofu were starting to show) at Philip Island, the pace Muggeridge had at Valencia Testing and the fact that the Ducati will have less modifications allowed in the domestic championship, i think we're up for a good season, as well as Sykes and Watanabe on the Gixxer, which under Neukirchner and Nieto has competed well.

leon seems to have had all the chances other riders could only "dream about" and yet? I have a suspicion it will be the same this year too,Hope I am wrong but?
