Thought old Rutter might prove a bit of a dark horse – and I'm well pleased for him - but for John Laverty on the cup spec version is, if owt, even more impressive.

Glad Ellison found the pace too, makes for more interesting competition …. despite the size of the gaps between 1 – 2 & 3 - 4

You are obviously an idiot with no understanding of the sport. Another armchair suporter who probably has never riden a bike in anger. He had a problem with his bike & he has just had a nightmare in the 2nd race with what like a really bad crash. I hope he is not to badly injured & comes out fighing at Oulton in a few weeks.

He has been on the pace all weekend & was looking very fast in both races before his problems!!
