Didn't Camier only pass his CBT/DAS in the past week aswell. Maybe they're all considering going road racing. Wouldn't it be brilliant to see Superbike racing down the nations motorways during rush hour !!!! lol

Maybe they're teaching him how to overtake a Honda infront of him...LOL! (just kidding folks)
I know that James Toseland doesnt ride on roads in general, but i didnt know there were riders who didnt actually have a licence!!! HAHA! It is funny that he signed a superbike deal without a bike licence!
Would riding on the road give you bad habits as a racer? and vice versa?!
Intersting!
Anywho, well done Tom! another accolade added to a marvellous career!

I dunno if there's anyone without a road licence now but Cal didn't have until the Summer when he did an intense course In Northampton & passed... Seems strange to think the guys we all admire for their riding on track can't (or at least couldn't) ride on the roads...
Well done Tom anyway - ride safe!

Most of them are too young to do Direct Access to get a bigger bike, so didnt bother. (Riding a 200bhp+ bike at the weekend, then swapping to a CB125 for the week?) And there are plenty of racers who wont go near road bikes most of the time, either because they feel its too dangerous (Colin Edwards, Troy Bayliss) - or because their teams or contracts wont allow it.

Could be wrong but I think one of the Laverty boys just failed his test and was complaining as his brothers would take the P155
