British Superbike stars Michael Rutter and Tom Sykes were among those lucky enough to sample MotoGP power during Monday's 'press and guest' day at Valencia.

Rutter, a Kawasaki rider in BSB, rode Team Green's ZX-RR grand prix machine, while Sykes appeared on a Rizla Suzuki GSV-R - which strongly suggests that the 2007 Superbike rookie will be racing for Rizla Suzuki in BSB next season.

Meanwhile, Sykes' former seat at Paul Bird's Honda team is rumoured to be going to Leon Camier, although he may also be in contention for an Airwaves Ducati ride - presumably alongside Gregorio Lavilla - should an agreement be reached that will allow the 1098R to race in BSB next year.
