After a lot of hard work in the weeks and months leading up to the season opener, the MSS Discovery Kawasaki team were among the most disappointed outfits.

"We had all our ducks in a row," commented team principal Nick Morgan, "The bikes were ready, the team were primed and the riders both showed marked progress in practice, lying just outside the top ten on the grid."

Sharing his disappointment was team co-owner and Kent businessman Stuart Simmonds.

The Brands Hatch weekend will be continued over 10-11 May, with grid positions taken from the past weekend's qualifying.
