Injury continues to rule Stuart Easton out of action.

Stuart Easton could be facing a prolonged absence through injury after it was revealed further work may be needed on his broken wrist to aid his recovery.

Easton injured himself in a high-speed crash at Snetterton, forcing him to miss the latest British Superbike round at Mallory Park.

However, the MSS Discovery Kawasaki rider has since been ruled out of Oulton Park in three weeks time, with an estimate on his return being put at the following round at Knockhill.

Even so, Easton could be required to have further medical treatment before he makes his comeback, with BSB Medical Delegate Toby Branfoot getting the final say on where he is fit enough to compete.

Although James Haydon deputised for Easton at Mallory Park, scoring a best result of 15th in the process, MSS Discovery team boss Nick Morgan admitted his replacement for Oulton Park has not been decided yet.
