James Haydon will compete for MSS Discovery again in the latest round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at
Oulton Park as Stuart Easton continues to recover from injury.
Haydon replaced Easton, who broke his wrist in a crash at
Snetterton, during the Mallory Park rounds too but it wasn't certain whether the former World Superbike rider would return with the team for Oulton Park as well.
Nonetheless, MSS Discovery team principal Nick Morgan claims he was happy to invite James back to action on the Kawasaki now that he has had more track time on it then he did at Mallory.
"Stuart will be replaced at Oulton Park by James Haydon,” he told the official British Superbike website. “We are looking forward to having James back on board after he deputised for Stuart at
Mallory Park.
“I feel that after the additional track time he will be able to put in two strong finishes this weekend. After speaking with James I know he is as fired up as ever to get back out on the bike."
Haydon scored a best finish of 15th at Mallory Park.
