Cal Crutchlow sets his sights on two wins in the final British Superbike round at Brands Hatch.

Cal Crutchlow is determined to put a disappointing run of form behind him with a strong end of season performance at Brands Hatch as he prepares for his Bennetts British Superbike farewell.

Crutchlow is World Supersport bound with Yamaha in 2009 meaning he is one of four riders keen to end their tenure on the British scene with a good result.

The HM Plant Honda rider has even more reason to be targeting a fillip before he moves on after a run of form that has seen his strong pace peppered by problems, most notably is fall at Cadwell Park and his mechanical failure at Silverstone.

With Leon Camier breathing down his neck for fourth in the overall standings, Crutchlow is nonetheless aiming high at Brands Hatch by setting his sights on two wins.

“Like most riders I much prefer the full circuit compared to the Indy track we will race on. The good thing is that there are plenty of laps to do the business and that's what I've got to do.

“We're coming off the back of another disappointing result at Silverstone, as I knew I had the pace to be on the podium in race two. I still desperately want to end the year on a high and for me a win – or preferably two – will be the perfect way to sign-off things in the UK before I go to World Supersport."
