Q&A: Dave Pinkney – EXCLUSIVE.

Having made his return to the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship last season with Motorbase Performance, Dave Pinkney has joined forces with Richard Marsh to form his own team for 2007.

Dave Pinkney:
Very much so. This car, compared to the Honda, will be the latest spec and we expect to be fighting for podiums.

Q:
And the biggest question of all – how much pink will it have on it?

Dave Pinkney:
Unfortunately not a lot. That’s the one problem with Alfa Romeo, they expect the cars to be in Alfa Romeo red. It’s a shame really, but I’ll get some in somewhere!

You can’t risk alienating all the Italian’s really…

Dave Pinkney:
No but it’s fabulous, the fans like it, I like it and it has always worked and got a big following.
