To have been regularly in the top half makes me absolutely ecstatic after last year, it really does. Once the confidence goes up, it takes you to another level and we just need to raise our game to be able to run consistently in the top ten. The car is certainly capable of it and I feel that I am, and with Kelvin on board we can push forward. We spent time looking at the telemetry over the weekend and are understanding the car which I feel is the big difference. Lets just hope that we can now get the E46 closer to the pace of the E90s.
Next up is Rockingham and I love it there, it’s a fantastic place. I think every round should be at Cadwell Park personally, but I might need to have a word with Mr. Palmer about that! Rockingham is good and should suit the
BMW as there aren’t too many tight corners.
Thruxton should suit us too although last year I had a pretty torrid time, but the circuits that I like are still to come. If you had said to me before the weekend that I’d have got the results I did, then I’d have been happy to take it on Friday so I’m happy with how it’s gone.
