Martyn Bell: Opening the account.

In his latest column for Crash.net, Martyn Bell looks back over the last two rounds of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship – including his first points finish of the season at Oulton Park.

We are starting to be rewarded for our hard work now and it is a boost for the team and a boost for morale. We knew we can get up there and now we want to build on it and get more top ten finishes.

At Donington I want to build on last year when we got a top ten despite having damaged steering. I like Donington, it’s my local circuit and we’ll have a lot of support there. People say Team RAC and Mat Jackson will be quick there, so lets hope we can join them and get four BMWs into the top ten – that would do me! I will be fighting as hard as I can, and hopefully we’ll have some points in the bag at the end of it.
