Out front, Turkington was coming under increasing pressure from Jackson and on the final lap, the BMW Dealer Team man made a last gasp lunge round the outside into the final corner. It looked like being drag race to the line, but Turkington was able to squeeze Jackson out to clinch the victory. Jackson took second with Neal securing the final podium position after battling past Jordan late on at Clearways. Jordan took fourth, while Plato, Giovanardi, Chilton, Allison, Andy Jordan and Jelley rounded out the points scorers.
