Out front however, Neal had driven away from the pack to take the win from Chilton and a thrilled Jones, while the top six was completed by Shedden, Giovanardi and Plato – who beat Turkington to sixth in a drag race to the line. Turkington was left in seventh while Rob Collard, Mike Jordan and Erkut completed the points scorers.
