Mat Jackson celebrated his first outing under the BMW Dealer Team UK banner by setting the pace in testing during the media day for the 2008 HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship at Rockingham.
IT WAS GREAT TO SEE THE CARS YESTERDAY, THE BMW'S LOOKED VERY STRONG, SEAT DID'NT SEEM TO PUT DOWN MANY LAPS AND IT LOOKED LIKE VXR WERE TRYING LOTS OF DIFFERENT THINGS ON THERE CARS...I COULD'NT GET OVER THE SMOKE THAT POURED OUT OF THE BACK OF TURNERS CAR WHEN IT CAME OUT AND PLATO'S CAR DID'NT LAST LONG BEFORE IT BROKE.
ONE THING JASON HUGHES WAS DRIVING HIS MG, I THOUGHT HE HAD PINKNEYS OLD INTEGRA FOR THIS YEAR, ANYONE SHED ANY LIGHT ON THAT?
GOOD TO SEE ROB COLLARD BACK ASWELL HE LOOKED LIKE HE WAS ENJOYING HIMSELF, STEPHEN JELLY IN THE RAC BMW WAS QUICKER THAN TEAM MATE TURKINGTON WHICH SUPRISED US AND THE JORDAN'S WERE RUNNING WELL..
Am i the only one who thinks Vauxhalls new paint job is not a patch on the old one (the red/white and black one minus the holiday inn sponsor off the bonnet), it looks rubbish. Doesnt look that dissimilar from John Georges!
