Plato hits out.

Plato hits out.

Jason Plato endured a trying weekend as the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship made its annual trip to Rockingham, with the SEAT Sport UK managing a best finish of sixth from the second meeting of the season.

so u guys reckon hes aloud to have ppl hit out at him but not the otherway arround? where the fairness in that?

chilton changed his line at 130mph that is suicide!

i dont blame him for hitting out at other drivers.

everyone goes ahhh plato this ahhh plato that when he hits someone but if someone hits him its still his fault? take ur rose tinted specs off and shut up and leave the guy alown

In my opinion, when I say it, it looked like Plato just hit the back of Chilton, and it looked like Chilton didn't change lines, so it was Plato's fault.

I do not even watch BTCC any more for the simple fact the stewards turna blind eye to demolition derby racing. When Jason races WTTC he never touches anybody, as he knows if he drives the same as in BTCC they will take his license away. Most of this post has shown I am not the only one with these feelings.

I think Plato is auditioning to become a Grumpy Old Man on the BBC. But seriously he has dished plentyful on shoving and nerfing aside throughout his career so he has to learn to take it as well. SnB mate, Plato is a double BTCC champion so I cannot see anything wrong with his driving talent, all drivers have endulged in the aforementioned activities to get past the car in front of them (even if it is happen to be their team mate/s) So a bit of give an take please.

Why not ask Plato's good old buddy Yvan Muller about the incident, deja vu perhaps??

jason does play rough at times and then likes to hear his own voice. however chilton is a little prone to stuffing others races up, still does, and onslow cole is following in his footsteps. young guns are ok but they must curb their driving to an acceptable level

rich ard. The reason as to wht we love the British Touring Cars more then it's World Cousin is simple we like good old fashioned phsycial racing bits of argy bargy and taking off paint each other. That is why it was so popular in 1990s and is on the rise again with ITV (even though it is on ITV4 though) It is still great plus you get the stars of tomorrow today as they also show the support races.

iain,a little bit of argy bargy is ok, but downright dangerous driving is not. the agro between neal and plato in the past was not acceptable. neal deliberately holding up plato in final race last season so that his new team could win the championship, was just "not on" Watch v8 supercars for proper and legitimate racing.

Im not sure wat to make of this.Yes Jason does make contact on other people and other people make contact on him but this is just racing! I wish everyone would stop judging drivers on the comments they make! Yes tom may have hit him and yes plato may be over reacting but who cares.....makes things interesting! The comments JP makes doesnt mean he is a **** driver as noway is he! Neal held up JP last season which cost him the title. So he isnt a **** driver as he finished second but may have won it.
Anyway.........

JP to win!
