The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship will celebrate Father's Day on Sunday with a special competition for the UK's dads being announced during ITV's live broadcast of the latest round of the season at Oulton Park.

ITV presenter Vicki Butler-Henderson will announce details of how to enter during the live show with one lucky dad receiving a high speed ride in reigning BTCC champion Vauxhall's brand new two-seater VX Racing Astra Sport Hatch touring car at the series' Silverstone race meeting on 17-18 September.

In addition, the winner - plus guest - will receive full VX Racing hospitality at Silverstone, overnight accommodation, dinner and breakfast in one of Hilton's luxury four-star hotels and a new set of tyres for their road car courtesy of BTCC title sponsor Dunlop. The winner's ride will also be featured in ITV's coverage of the Silverstone BTCC meeting.

"This is yet another example of the BTCC reaching out to its many thousands of loyal fans," series director Alan Gow said. "ITV, VXR, Hilton and Dunlop's collective help in bringing this together underlines the sporting spirit of the BTCC - each is dedicated to keeping our fans entertained.

"With well over one million people tuning in each time to watch the BTCC on ITV, we expect a surge of entries. Those spectators attending Oulton will not be left out as our race day commentators will make sure everyone knows about the competition."

The live coverage is scheduled to run on Sunday from 16.00-17.30.
