"We have been successful there [Thruxton] in the past but we will just have to wait and see," he said. "I'm not particularly confident if I'm being honest because I know where we are weak and it will hurt us round there.

"If nine points is enough round Thruxton then it's enough – but if it isn't, then it isn't. It'll be one of those deals, the balls will run in our favour and we will be victorious, or we won't be."
