TH Motorsport/Team JAG man aims to continue Knockhill form into season finale.

John George is hopeful of building on his solid performance last time out at Knockhill as the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season comes to a close next weekend at Thruxton.

George was in the points on the long trip to Scotland last month and has a car that has run well at Thruxton underneath him in the shape of the Honda Integra. Now, the 46-year-old will aim to make the most of that package to pick up more points and end his season on a high.

“We're hoping we can finish off with two top ten finishes,” he said. “The second race would be ideal in terms of getting lucky for the reversed grid draw for race three – it's twice given us a pole position starting slot this year.

“It's going to be very hard to achieve that. It's going to be a full grid of BTCC drivers all wanting to end the season on a high. One thing I aim to do is attack the slower speed corners more. I really learnt there last time in May that there's more time to be gained in the slow stuff than around the faster sections.”
