'Golden tickets' to give fans extra enjoyment.

Fans attending the second round of the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship at Rockingham this weekend could be given the chance to watch the action in style – if they find a golden ticket, a la 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'.

The circuit is offering five lucky winners the chance to upgrade their tickets for VIP hospitality if they find a golden ticket hidden in their official event programme.

Those lucky enough to find a ticket will then be able to spend the day in one of the circuits luxury hospitality suites where they will catch all the action for the latest three races of the 50th anniversary season.

“This is a very special anniversary year for the British Touring Car Championship and we wanted to give the fans a chance to celebrate it in style,” director of sales and marketing Charlotte Orton said. “We came up with the golden ticket idea to add a bit of fun and excitement for fans on the day.

“This is a great opportunity to win a day of full VIP treatment.”
