Budgetary issues leave Robertshaw man with watching brief.

"It's a shame as I've gelled well with the team and the car has been performing well. Even though I made a mistake in the first race at Donington, we showed the pace was there now we have got rid of the weight penalty and I think it will go well at Thruxton.

"There is a chance that we will be back out later in the season but it will depend on whether Robertshaw are able to bring someone in with budget for the rest of the year as I can't expect Joe and Gary to just slot me back in if they find that person.

"If this is the end of the season for us, then it will be a chance to focus on getting a full budget in place for 2009 as I don't feel like I've shown my best in the BTCC yet."
