Andrew Jordan enjoyed his first run in a Super 2000 Touring Car at
Snetterton during the two-day HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship test when he ran a few laps in one of the Team Halfords Honda Civics.
The brief test was a reward from Halfords team boss Steve Neal for Jordan's impressive performance in his John Guest Racing Honda Integra at
Thruxton, where he challenged the established order for podium positions in the third race of the weekend before mechanical issues forced him to retire.
After a five-lap run on old tyres, Jordan Jr set out on a new tyre run but a suspension problem brought his session to a premature halt.
"It was a fantastic opportunity to try a Super 2000 car," he said. "The Civic is quite different to the Integra and it was a real eye-opener. It was also good to see what we are up against.
"Steve Neal was impressed with what I did at Thruxton and this was his way of saying 'well done'. I'm really grateful to Steve and everyone at Team Halfords for giving me this opportunity."
