Nick Leason to drive spectacular Wiesmann sportscar up the Goodwood hill during Festival of Speed.

Nick Leason is to star at the Goodwood Festival of Speed after the news that he will be driving up the famous hill for Wiesmann.

Leason, who is working on a return to the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship with Rick Kerry and the AFM Racing team, will drive a BMW V10-powered Wiesmann GT MF5 as it seeks to raise its profile in the UK market.

The German manufacturer will be making its maiden appearance at Goodwood, with its range of models now being made available in right-hand driver to cater for the British market.

"I am looking forward to having the opportunity to drive at the Goodwood Festival of Speed for Wiesmann," Leason said. "This is a great privilege to be driving up the most famous hill in the world and a goal I can now tick of my list."
