Mike and Andrew Jordan endured a disappointing return to action in the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship after a problem filled weekend at
Snetterton.
The sixth round of the year was particularly tough on Jordan Jr, who failed to see the chequered flag in any of the three Norfolk races.
Andy had started the first race from 14th on the grid but he crashed out on the run to Sear on the second lap due to a braking issue on his John Guest Racing Honda Integra.
Contact with Harry Vaulkhard in the second race damaged the front of his car and forced him into retirement while the was further heartache in race three when a gearbox problem saw him return to the pits having completed just four laps.
"The brake pedal went to the floor in race one and it goes so far that it puts a lot of rear brake bias into the car, so that threw me into the field at Sear," he reflected. "I'm pretty glad it happened there and not going into the Esses.
"From the very start it didn't go into fifth gear cleanly and that hurt quite a lot when I was trying to go past the slower cars. I was catching Vaulkhard and I came out of the Bomb Hole and it just went straight back into fourth, so I just brought it in before it did it again and damaged the engine."
Jordan Sr meanwhile took eleventh in the first race despite a misfire, and then finished ninth in race two before he was forced out of race three following a driveshaft issue before event taking the start.
