Voting has opened to find the second winner of the HiQ Champagne Moment – the award voted for by fans to find the top driver from each weekend of racing in the British Touring Car Championship.
Title sponsors HiQ launched the initiative following the weekend of racing at
Croft, with
Mat Jackson coming out on top of the votes as a result of his storming drive in the second race of the weekend. Jackson received a magnum of champagne at Snetterton presented to him by fan Jacky Webb who had her name drawn at random from those that had entered the competition.
HiQ is now urging fans to log on and vote for their favourite driver from
Snetterton, with the top driver receiving a magnum of champagne at
Oulton Park on Sunday 27 July with one lucky fan presenting him with the prize in person.
“We are delighted with the success of our first champagne moment and glad Jacky enjoyed the experience,” HiQ's BTCC spokesman James Bailey said. “We want our sponsorship to leave a positive impression on the people that matter at the BTCC – the fans.
“There are still plenty of rounds remaining, so there are lots of opportunities for fans to get involved.”
