Mike and Andrew Jordan will look to rebound from a tough weekend last time out at Snetterton as the HiQ MSA British Touring Car Championship heads north to Oulton Park for the seventh round of the season.

The pair endured a difficult weekend in Norfolk, with Andrew failing to finish any of the three races and Mike securing a best finish of ninth in race two before he was unable to take the start of race three with a driveshaft problem.

Jordan Jr will now look to return to the kind of form he displayed earlier in the season at Thruxton, where he starred in the final race of the weeked, while Jordan Sr admitted he was looking forward to the challenge of the Cheshire venue.

"Oulton Park is not a sanitised circuit and it always focuses your mind," he said. "I should think everyone on the BTCC grid is looking forward to going to Oulton. We gear the car fairly short for Oulton. It's only geared for about 125mph as you are never in sixth gear for too long.

"Most of the current BTCC cars are running quite soft, so running wide over kerbs isn't much of a problem. Early in the morning at Oulton it can be a little bit damp under the trees at Druids. But that's one the great challenges of racing at Oulton Park."
