A champion in touring car series' all over the world, Fabrizio Giovanardi will go into the 2008 season as one of the favourites for the title on the back of his stunning success in 2007 - when he hunted down Jason Plato to secure the crown by just three points after the final race of the year.
Remaining with Vauxhall for a third season, the likeable Italian will have the challenge of a new team-mate alongside him in the Vectra, which was quick out of the box in 2007 and is likely to be one of the cars to beat again this season.
