When asked, Kalkhoven admitted that he planned to be in court every day, claiming that he had a great interest in the case and owed it to the jurors to be present throughout. He hopes the case will be done by Friday 9 November, the beginning of the weekend of Champ Cars' season finale at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City. If not, he doesn't know if he'll go to Mexico or not.

Kalkhoven added that he had missed the recent Surfers Paradise race as he'd been in the Middle East.
