Johnson also confirmed PKV's intention to again field two cars in the championship, but would not reveal the identity of Servia's team-mate.

“Current plans call for the team to run two cars in 2008," he said, "The second driver will be named following a series of driver tests.”

Rookies Neel Jani and Tristan Gommendy raced with PKV last season, before the Frenchman's financial problems allowed Servia to return for the final two races. While Gommendy's future remains uncertain over the winter, Jani had been expected to return to the series, but Johnson's comments cast doubt on whether the Swiss driver will continue with PKV this season.
