Markus Winkelhock has thanked Audi for giving him the chance to show his tin-top ability after deputising for Tom Kristensen over the last two DTM rounds, even if neither race has gone to plan.

“I don't know if Tom will be fit for Norisring, but it has been really nice to come back. The cars a really good and I like DTM, so I am really grateful to Audi for giving me the chance to drive. I hope to do more races in the future, but it depends on how Tom is going to be in the next few days.”
