Press Snoop: Stoddart to revive Minardi name.

PAUL STODDART said Wednesday that everything attributed to him in the local media is true. He is not just thinking of running a team in 2008, he has filed the necessary paperwork and the team will be called Minardi.

The FIA track inspection of the Albert Park Formula One Grand Prix course was completed Wednesday afternoon, the CAMS officials had a meeting with FIA F1 Race Delegate, CHARLIE WHITING, and everything is good to go.


The weather Wednesday at the track was hot, sunny and low key. The clouds started rolling in around 4pm and the breeze picked up. After two straight weeks of lovely weather for the Commonwealth Games and this week leading up to AGP, the Melbourne fall weather might revert to form.
