Press Snoop: All F1 cars given OK by FIA.

Thursday, 30th March 2006

All 22 of the F1 cars entered in the 2006 Australian Grand Prix have 'been found to conform with the safety requirements of the 2006 FIA Formula One Technical Regulations'.

Brabham is currently running a Multimatic Panoz in the American Le Mans Series, and he won the opening race last weekend - the 12 Hours of Sebring.

Brabs will be back in Australia for both of the famous Bathurst Endurance races, but can't yet reveal with what team he will drive. And for the thirteenth year, he will run the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but again can't yet reveal those details - just that he's had two offers.

The weather cleared and warmed up midmorning and was nice all day. A bit of a breeze kicked up late in the afternoon, but so far it's still dry and fine. Fingers crossed the declining weather forecasts prove false.
