Kimi Raikkonen claims Lewis Hamilton cost him the chance to challenge for pole position in the Brazilian Grand Prix, but says he isn't willing to pursue the matter further.
Come on KR I thought you were a bigger man than this... From what I saw Hamilton moved right off the racing line, what else is he supposed to do, run off the track??
It's part of qualifying that there is a good possibility someone will get in your way at the end of a short session when everyone is out on track. Surely its up to the strategist to pick the best time for you to go out on track and get some open space.
All the bitching and moaning just adds to what has been a sorry season for F1.

RE:ALLIE
Alright then, i'll put it to you this way.... if Hamilton hadn't of been there do you really think that Kimi would have run wide and had to catch the car. And also take into account the fact that he's had no problem with that corner all weekend.
Allie makes the point that LH move off the racing line, and asked what else he was supposed to do.
All yo have one is point out the beeding obvious in an agressive manor.
Well? Well done, mate.

Lucky Lewis once again.
There are rules, which Lewis deems only for other drivers. This season will be over tomorrow, and it looks very good that Lewis will be celebrating. There is always next year, and beleive you me, now that all the drivers know what Hamilton is really all about, he wont get away with his chicanery. They will be watching for him.

jj are you going to say that hamilton should be put back 10 grid slots just becouse his sh1t stinks. You lot just try to get him put back just because he is not your favorite driver, take your blinkers off. Like he said to a reporter (did you want me to put my indicator on). Any more to the left and he would have been on the grass. If kimi loosing his bottle as a couple of years ago he would have gone past flat out like he did when he track was thick with smoke. WELL PAUL WELL PAUL

If it hadn't been Lewis, I doubt that Kimi would said anything. Even if it had been another driver, Kimi would have made the same misjudgement as he was obviously distracted by there being another car on the track. Begs the question if we should go back to single car shoot-out like the super-pole they have in World Super Bires. Or have a complete free-for-all like there is in MotoGP and as it used to be in F1. Many a time was there the excuse that a driver got held up on their fast lap!

All lewis had to do was lift, not move, just lift.
second, were they closer too each other than massa and alonso were a year ago at monza, YES they were, so to show consistant rules he would have to have a pen of some form.
will he get it, no, does he deserve it? probably not, but u cant have rules for one and not another, he should start 6th 5places back like alonso did at monza.if not then the sport is pretty fake, which it has proven its self to be anyway

1) Actually they sent Hamilton two times just ahead of Kimi when Kimi was starting his fast laps. Q2 + Q3.
2) It's not about whether Lewis should take more to left or right hand side of the track. He should just keep his line and break earlier before the turn and not mess others laps, of course it was just coincidence that he braked exactly in the turning point of corner 4.
3) You can't turn to the corner as normally if there's a car inside or almost inside the corner, it's a complete lotter guessing on speed like that about where Lewis is going to move ahead as it's Lewis anyway. Anyone remember Vettel + Webber collusion that he cost?

Brendan, you hit the nail on the head mate. Thank christ someone is making sense of all this, and pointing out the obvious indiscretions from the FIA.
Allie says: strategist to pick the best time for you to go out on track and get some open space. *Lewis+McLaren strategist are damn good indeed, they simply sent Lewis on Kimi's way when they saw Kimi starting the fast lap. *Kimi+Ferrari were already running on the track and just starting the fast lap, they couldn't affect anything regarding strategy at that point, it was all in hands of Lewis+McLaren.
Again, McLaren has chosen a better strategy for Lewis than Alonso. Alonso only had 3 seconds left when starting his final lap, as Lewis tires was changed first of course. So Alonso had to burn too much of his tires already on the warming lap, while Hamilton had enough time play with KR.

Brendan - just because the Italian Stewards made a bad decision, which helped Ferrari and Massa last year doesn't mean they have to persist with it. After all the fuss of that biased decision, was it any surprise that the FIA took that call away from the local officials? Just occassioanly the FIA does learn from mistakes that are made - or is that more from the bad publicity it generates?
Lewis who? Hadn't you actually noticed that Alonso prefers to be out last - the Senna routine - one of the few times he didn't was when he screwed himself and the team early this year!

Kimi would have to play a better mind game this time. That was rubbish. Hopefully FIA doesn't make decisions favouring the Ferrari again. Kind of boring.

Kimi went wide out of that corner - nobody can't argue it was a driver's error. Again, FIA is walkig on egg shells around Hamilton. This season is tainted just like durig the MS era they are allowing one individual get away with so much others would not. Hamilton wins tomorrow for sure, but his WDC title should have an asterisk next to it.

Kamil;
I think there are a lot of people that agree with you. In my opinion that is how I will think of this WDC. Next year will hopefully be more interesting for us the fans. It has been going on for the whole year that if you liek the driver or dislike him determines the rants that go on here. I am a huge Ferrari fan but I must say regardless of who wins, this whole season has been ruined for the fans by MM and BE. I am also p*ssed that we no longer have a US GP, thanks to the ignorance to the fans in 2005 GP which I along with many others fans spent our money and time to go see. Only to be *****d by the FIA and Bernie. F1 needs to re-evaluate their responsibility to their fans.

I think F1 needs to re-evaluate their responsibility to their fans and not to their teams and drivers. I am a huge Ferrari fan but have been frustrated buy the calls that have been made to please Ferrari as well as the call made to please other teams. **** the Teams and Drivers, do what is right for the sport and the fans. We lost our US GP because of MM and BE and their ignorance to us the fans. I as well as many others spent our money and vacation time to spectate in the 2005 GP only to be insulted by the race due to the ignorance of the powers that be in F1. As I said and all of us has been saying, **** the teams and drivers, do what is right for the fans.
The article states "Although Hamilton has since apologised, Raikkonen admits he was frustrated to be on the second row of the grid but claims he is not interested in seeking a punishment for the Brit."
Stop attacking Kimi, LH acknowledged that he made a mistake, people (especially LH) dont apologise if they did nothing wrong. The fact that Kimi isnt going any further with it os proof that he isn't whinging!

Lewis Hamilton is being screwed by the media no matter what he does - he cannot win:
Lewis had 2 options available:
1) He makes Alonso wait in the pits behind him to allow Kimi to pass? Media verdict = Guilty. Result = blamed by Alonso for not making his final go at quali. CHEAT!
2) He doesn't make Alonso wait. (Which is what happened). Hamilton rushes out the pits, so Alonso JUST made quali - by 4 seconds. He thus comes out on the track unable to sight Kimi, then slows down and pulls over. Media verdict = Guilty. Result = blamed for slowing Kimi. CHEAT!
Give the guy a break ffs. He aint' a God, but he sure drives like one. Those who can't accept this writhe in their jealousy.
